I'm currently on season 10 of the show - it's safe to assume I'll have finished s10 by the time reveals come round!
DNW Gibbs disliking Ducky's rambles, please. I read him as enjoying Ducky's endless tangents, and only ever stopping him when there's time pressure because of a case. I'd love to see him happily listening to Ducky's stories when they're on their own time, maybe while doing woodwork or gardening or something else he also enjoys.
My prompts don't mention the kids (the team) much, but I do love the kids! I would love appearances from the kids! I think they all know about Gibbs and Ducky (and love their weird dads!), and at least suspect about Gibbs and Fornell.
Gibbs/Ducky: I read these two as effectively married since before the show began. They have massive established couple energy, trusting each other in ways they would never dream of trusting anyone else, touching each other in ways that suggest they've known and loved each other for years. They both date other people on occasion and it never seems to affect how intimate they are with each other (unless you want to talk to me about Gibbs' Fourth Abusive Ex,Fuckhands McMike Franks) - so my reading of them is 'established open relationship of exquisite tenderness, each one secure in the certainty that he's the other one's main man'. I also read them as very dom4dom (which is only really relevant when Tobias comes into the picture lol)
Gibbs/Fornell: they love each other too, but Feisty! Snarling at each other in public and then flicking a switch in the elevator like 'hi Jethro :)' 'hi Tobias :)' (and later, completely dropping the snarly act and just being feistily affectionate even in front of the kids). These two have made out so often over the years, and it always either starts or ends with them snapping, biting and slamming each other into walls. I read them as liking it all kinds of rough, and very willing to give it to each other rough (usually with Gibbs being the one more in control of things), grinning in mutual delight for every second of it. Outside of making out, they're snarky with each other but super affectionate and impish, and it's great.
Gibbs/Ducky/Fornell: both dynamics at once! Ducky is Gibbs' main man, but over the years he finds Tobias is getting closer and closer to Also Main Man status. Tobias has met Ducky onscreen a couple of times, and I read him as being very aware of Gibbs and Ducky's existing open relationship, so the increasing friendship between Ducky and Tobias from like S6 onwards is delightful to behold, and I imagine Gibbs finds it delightful as well. I love the thought of Ducky and Tobias becoming friendlier with each other, starting to show each other affection, and eventually starting to make out as well, completing the triad. I also love the thought of the two of them being brought together by their mutual concern and worry for Gibbs - especially if Gibbs is already trying to matchmake them a bit, knowing they get along great but haven't found the romantic spark just yet, and is so annoyed when he realizes all it really took to get them together was for him to get hurt/sick enough that they worried themselves into Also Kissing.

• Gibbs knows he's not doing so hot and manages to sneak away from the kids to go get looked after by Ducky, because they don't keep secrets from each other (and can always tell when the other's feeling off). Ducky keeps the kids away while he looks after him, so Gibbs doesn't have to worry about them worrying
• That thing they do where Gibbs occasionally falls asleep on an autopsy table near where Ducky is working, and Ducky turns out the lights and makes sure he's okay and comfortable (Gibbs reads to me as very given to sensory overload in general - he likes to keep his house dark and quiet and calm, wears lots of layers, and sometimes goes to autopsy for some rest or brooding™, so I feel like comfort for him whenever he needs it involves a lot of turning off lights/letting them stay off, and keeping him warm)
• Something where Gibbs and Ziva are both significantly injured or both catch ill on a case, and the others notice how similar they are in how they deal with it (trying to shrug it off, then resigning themselves to suffering, only allowing Ducky to take care of them and snapping at the others). Gibbs trying to look after Ziva while also suffering himself - sharing extra blankets with her, making sure she rests up, having Ducky treat her first, ordering Tony and McGee to look after her and fetch and carry for her, ordering her to accept being looked after (which amuses Ducky greatly, since he remembers what a struggle it was to get Gibbs himself to accept being cared for back in the day)
• Gibbs loses his voice for a while, and no one on the team but Abby speaks ASL. He can't bark orders and refuses to go home and rest, so he's stuck switching between getting Abby to translate and sending increasingly frustrated emails to the rest of the kids until Ducky and/or Tobias (and/or Vance) stage an intervention
• Gibbs is a grumpy and constantly Annoyed patient when Tobias is the one looking after him, but the easiest, sweetest one when it's Ducky doing the looking after (much to Tobias' chagrin)
• Tobias can wrangle Gibbs fine when it comes to minor injuries and things they can constantly complain and be snarky at each other about, but the moment things get serious or scary (ie Gibbs isn't complaining any more) he makes the decision to call or text the cavalry (Ducky) for advice or an extra hand
• Tobias shows up at Gibbs' place fresh from a case all bruised and cut, and Gibbs cleans and stitches his wounds while very gently snarking at him the whole time (and maybe takes him to get checked over by Ducky the next morning)
• When Ducky is overwhelmed or hurt or otherwise in need of comforting, Gibbs knows exactly how he likes his tea, and how he likes his company (and maybe shoos Palmer out of the room to give both Ducky and Palmer a break, and/or to distract Ducky from the overwhelm by kissing him)
• Gibbs is off somewhere and realizes he's too hurt/sick to drive, so he has to call Ducky (or Tobias or Leon or Borin) to come drive him home, trusting them not only with his own wellbeing but also with the Challenger whom he loves, and who is for all intents and purposes an extension of him
• Gibbs tucking his own jacket over Ducky when he's ill or hurt and needs some extra warmth; Ducky giving Gibbs extra blankets and more layers when he's ill or injured and all his usual layers won't suffice
• Gibbs and Ducky (and/or Tobias) making out while Gibbs is ill or injured and needs some extra gentleness - easy for Ducky, since their dynamic is already sweet and gentle, but a bit of a mindfuck for Tobias since he and Gibbs are used to roughing each other up and slamming each other into walls for pleasure, and Gibbs letting himself be this vulnerable, showing him his 'slow and gentle but still just as intense' side, is a completely new one on him
• The kids watching Gibbs look after Ducky during/after a case that's hard on all of them, and realizing that Love Is Real. Maybe Gibbs forgets himself for a second and gives Ducky a quick kiss on the temple or forehead while everyone else is still in the room, and they all melt a little because while they know the two of them are together, they've never seen them like this before
• Caretaking in the elevator, whether it's just Gibbs or Ducky stopping it for a moment to share a quick much-needed hug and kiss, or whether it's more intense than that and Gibbs actually needs some medical care, or Ducky is worried that he might. Or something in between, like maybe one of them is having an awful day and has a miserable headache and just needs the other to rub his temples or shoulders for a while
The Sting
Henry Gondorff/Johnny Hooker
I love these smug idiots and how protective they are of each other! I feel like they would immediately do anything for each other, but are still very much tiptoeing around acknowledging that even to themselves, and that makes for a fascinating dynamic full of devoted mutual pining that neither is quite sure how to get around - and some hurt/comfort might just be the way they finally do it.
DNW innocent/vulnerable targets, please! In tune with canon, I would prefer for the target of any con they pull to be someone who deserves it.

• Henry out of his element in looking after Johnny, and Johnny himself out of his element in being injured or unwell - either it's an injury or illness he's never dealt with before (pneumonia? broken limb? first ever migraine?) or it's severe enough to disorient and scare him, or both
• Henry just absolutely losing his mind trying to figure out how to make Johnny more comfortable/less in pain/just make whatever he's suffering more bearable - getting him something soft to wear, extra blankets or scarves, cool cloths, filling up the bathroom with steam, whatever occurs to him
• Johnny being super unfamiliar with being cared for, complaining that Henry is fussing too much and making a big deal out of nothing, until he's feeling too bad to even complain and finally has to acknowledge it's nice to be treated nice
• Trains! I'd love to see some caretaking on trains, whether they're undercover on a fancy one or escaping on a less fancy one, or whatever other Train Premise you desire. (Cars also good, but trains lend themselves to h/c set over longer journeys without outside help, while I feel like cars are more immediate, especially in the canon time period, which is why I'm pointing out the Trains)
• Johnny letting slip how wonderful he thinks Henry is while he's out of it with pain or fever; Henry wondering if he'll even remember he said that when he feels better (he does)
• Alternatively, Henry letting something slip when Johnny is out of it, then hoping he won't remember (he does)
• Alternatively alternatively, Johnny confessing how much he likes Henry while he's really sick or hurt and Henry thinks he's out of it, but Johnny is completely in possession of his senses (just suffering) and sticks to his guns, gently coaxing Henry into accepting a kiss
• Johnny showing up injured or sick and collapsing on Henry's doorstep because he doesn't know where else to go; Henry being a disaster but pulling it together to look after Johnny despite being out of his depth and perhaps even afraid (maybe with some help and reassurance from Billie)
• Henry wanting to be gentle with Johnny in bed while Johnny is a bit of a brat and can't or won't handle gentleness (I would love to see him come around to accepting gentleness from Henry, even if Henry has to get stern in order to achieve it)
• Johnny kinda getting off on being injured/in pain until it's very suddenly all too much for him and he's in unfamiliar, disorienting territory of Actually Feeling Bad
• Johnny wanting to be tied/held down roughly, but it ends up hurting him too much and Henry compromises by tying/holding him lightly instead, carefully within how much he can handle
• Generally them being super protective of each other and having feelings they can't figure out how to express, until they do

Unlike my other requests, I don't have several rambling tangents for this one - just pleeeaseeeee for the love of god, let Bill Fenner catch a break! The whole situation with Sandra sucked, his sad poetic hookup with Claire before Sandra came back into the picture was just devastating, and my man has just had an absolutely rotten time of it for years. Wherever he goes from Venice - maybe another European city, intending to keep being sad and alone in pretty places - please let him meet someone nice, who's good to him and kind. Someone who looks after him a bit as he falls apart, as he's well within his rights to do after everything he's just been through, and is patient with him and brings him coffee and makes out with him without forcing him into too much sensory overwhelm, and maybe ends up making him reach for happier poems to quote, in the end.
They don't have to stay together long, or even intend to - I'm very happy for them to be ships passing in the night (or in a few days or weeks) - but I would like them to be as close to happy as you can be in such circumstances. I'd be glad for OC to be a happy kind of person, but would be equally glad for them to have their own troubles and be the 'grave and kind' sort. And if you do want them to have a long-term happily ever after, I would be delighted for that to happen, too.

• Gibbs is badly injured or catches ill on a case - not all the way to life-threatening, but bad to the point of him being fairly out of it - and won't let anyone but Ducky touch him
• Gibbs' knee acts up severely or gets reinjured in the field during a case; Ducky has to fix him up while the kids watch (complicated by how uncomfortable Gibbs is with being vulnerable in front of them; eased by how much he trusts Ducky with said vulnerability)
• Gibbs hides an injury or illness from the kids (or unsuccessfully tries to hide it, to their increasing worry) until he passes out at his desk (or somewhere else at work); they are terrified and call Ducky for help
• Gibbs knows he's not doing so hot and manages to sneak away from the kids to go get looked after by Ducky, because they don't keep secrets from each other (and can always tell when the other's feeling off). Ducky keeps the kids away while he looks after him, so Gibbs doesn't have to worry about them worrying
• That thing they do where Gibbs occasionally falls asleep on an autopsy table near where Ducky is working, and Ducky turns out the lights and makes sure he's okay and comfortable (Gibbs reads to me as very given to sensory overload in general - he likes to keep his house dark and quiet and calm, wears lots of layers, and sometimes goes to autopsy for some rest or brooding™, so I feel like comfort for him whenever he needs it involves a lot of turning off lights/letting them stay off, and keeping him warm)
• Something where Gibbs and Ziva are both significantly injured or both catch ill on a case, and the others notice how similar they are in how they deal with it (trying to shrug it off, then resigning themselves to suffering, only allowing Ducky to take care of them and snapping at the others). Gibbs trying to look after Ziva while also suffering himself - sharing extra blankets with her, making sure she rests up, having Ducky treat her first, ordering Tony and McGee to look after her and fetch and carry for her, ordering her to accept being looked after (which amuses Ducky greatly, since he remembers what a struggle it was to get Gibbs himself to accept being cared for back in the day)
• Gibbs loses his voice for a while, and no one on the team but Abby speaks ASL. He can't bark orders and refuses to go home and rest, so he's stuck switching between getting Abby to translate and sending increasingly frustrated emails to the rest of the kids until Ducky and/or Tobias (and/or Vance) stage an intervention
• Gibbs is a grumpy and constantly Annoyed patient when Tobias is the one looking after him, but the easiest, sweetest one when it's Ducky doing the looking after (much to Tobias' chagrin)
• Tobias can wrangle Gibbs fine when it comes to minor injuries and things they can constantly complain and be snarky at each other about, but the moment things get serious or scary (ie Gibbs isn't complaining any more) he makes the decision to call or text the cavalry (Ducky) for advice or an extra hand
• Tobias shows up at Gibbs' place fresh from a case all bruised and cut, and Gibbs cleans and stitches his wounds while very gently snarking at him the whole time (and maybe takes him to get checked over by Ducky the next morning)
• When Ducky is overwhelmed or hurt or otherwise in need of comforting, Gibbs knows exactly how he likes his tea, and how he likes his company (and maybe shoos Palmer out of the room to give both Ducky and Palmer a break, and/or to distract Ducky from the overwhelm by kissing him)
• Gibbs is off somewhere and realizes he's too hurt/sick to drive, so he has to call Ducky (or Tobias or Leon or Borin) to come drive him home, trusting them not only with his own wellbeing but also with the Challenger whom he loves, and who is for all intents and purposes an extension of him
• Gibbs tucking his own jacket over Ducky when he's ill or hurt and needs some extra warmth; Ducky giving Gibbs extra blankets and more layers when he's ill or injured and all his usual layers won't suffice
• Gibbs and Ducky (and/or Tobias) making out while Gibbs is ill or injured and needs some extra gentleness - easy for Ducky, since their dynamic is already sweet and gentle, but a bit of a mindfuck for Tobias since he and Gibbs are used to roughing each other up and slamming each other into walls for pleasure, and Gibbs letting himself be this vulnerable, showing him his 'slow and gentle but still just as intense' side, is a completely new one on him
• The kids watching Gibbs look after Ducky during/after a case that's hard on all of them, and realizing that Love Is Real. Maybe Gibbs forgets himself for a second and gives Ducky a quick kiss on the temple or forehead while everyone else is still in the room, and they all melt a little because while they know the two of them are together, they've never seen them like this before
• Caretaking in the elevator, whether it's just Gibbs or Ducky stopping it for a moment to share a quick much-needed hug and kiss, or whether it's more intense than that and Gibbs actually needs some medical care, or Ducky is worried that he might. Or something in between, like maybe one of them is having an awful day and has a miserable headache and just needs the other to rub his temples or shoulders for a while

I love these smug idiots and how protective they are of each other! I feel like they would immediately do anything for each other, but are still very much tiptoeing around acknowledging that even to themselves, and that makes for a fascinating dynamic full of devoted mutual pining that neither is quite sure how to get around - and some hurt/comfort might just be the way they finally do it.
DNW innocent/vulnerable targets, please! In tune with canon, I would prefer for the target of any con they pull to be someone who deserves it.
Prompts if you want em!
• Henry out of his element in looking after Johnny, and Johnny himself out of his element in being injured or unwell - either it's an injury or illness he's never dealt with before (pneumonia? broken limb? first ever migraine?) or it's severe enough to disorient and scare him, or both
• Henry just absolutely losing his mind trying to figure out how to make Johnny more comfortable/less in pain/just make whatever he's suffering more bearable - getting him something soft to wear, extra blankets or scarves, cool cloths, filling up the bathroom with steam, whatever occurs to him
• Johnny being super unfamiliar with being cared for, complaining that Henry is fussing too much and making a big deal out of nothing, until he's feeling too bad to even complain and finally has to acknowledge it's nice to be treated nice
• Trains! I'd love to see some caretaking on trains, whether they're undercover on a fancy one or escaping on a less fancy one, or whatever other Train Premise you desire. (Cars also good, but trains lend themselves to h/c set over longer journeys without outside help, while I feel like cars are more immediate, especially in the canon time period, which is why I'm pointing out the Trains)
• Johnny letting slip how wonderful he thinks Henry is while he's out of it with pain or fever; Henry wondering if he'll even remember he said that when he feels better (he does)
• Alternatively, Henry letting something slip when Johnny is out of it, then hoping he won't remember (he does)
• Alternatively alternatively, Johnny confessing how much he likes Henry while he's really sick or hurt and Henry thinks he's out of it, but Johnny is completely in possession of his senses (just suffering) and sticks to his guns, gently coaxing Henry into accepting a kiss
• Johnny showing up injured or sick and collapsing on Henry's doorstep because he doesn't know where else to go; Henry being a disaster but pulling it together to look after Johnny despite being out of his depth and perhaps even afraid (maybe with some help and reassurance from Billie)
• Henry wanting to be gentle with Johnny in bed while Johnny is a bit of a brat and can't or won't handle gentleness (I would love to see him come around to accepting gentleness from Henry, even if Henry has to get stern in order to achieve it)
• Johnny kinda getting off on being injured/in pain until it's very suddenly all too much for him and he's in unfamiliar, disorienting territory of Actually Feeling Bad
• Johnny wanting to be tied/held down roughly, but it ends up hurting him too much and Henry compromises by tying/holding him lightly instead, carefully within how much he can handle
• Generally them being super protective of each other and having feelings they can't figure out how to express, until they do

Unlike my other requests, I don't have several rambling tangents for this one - just pleeeaseeeee for the love of god, let Bill Fenner catch a break! The whole situation with Sandra sucked, his sad poetic hookup with Claire before Sandra came back into the picture was just devastating, and my man has just had an absolutely rotten time of it for years. Wherever he goes from Venice - maybe another European city, intending to keep being sad and alone in pretty places - please let him meet someone nice, who's good to him and kind. Someone who looks after him a bit as he falls apart, as he's well within his rights to do after everything he's just been through, and is patient with him and brings him coffee and makes out with him without forcing him into too much sensory overwhelm, and maybe ends up making him reach for happier poems to quote, in the end.
They don't have to stay together long, or even intend to - I'm very happy for them to be ships passing in the night (or in a few days or weeks) - but I would like them to be as close to happy as you can be in such circumstances. I'd be glad for OC to be a happy kind of person, but would be equally glad for them to have their own troubles and be the 'grave and kind' sort. And if you do want them to have a long-term happily ever after, I would be delighted for that to happen, too.
